Red Rili Shrimp (1.5–2.0 cm)

A striking Neocaridina variety with a bold red head and tail contrasted against a clear, translucent midsection. Selectively bred over successive generations for maximum colour saturation and pattern clarity — a real showpiece for any planted tank.

Neocaridina as a species are famously forgiving, which is exactly why we recommend Red Rili to anyone starting out with shrimp keeping. They breed readily once settled, get on well with other peaceful colony shrimp, and their pattern only gets sharper as they mature.

Straight from the tap is usually fine in the UK. They’re happiest at pH 7–7.5, GH 8–10, KH 4–6, with TDS sitting around 250–300 ppm.
